It has nothing to do with proclaiming the gospel...
But this story in the NY Times is as inspiring as anything you'll read this week. It's just a little reminder of how blessed many of us are and how deep the struggles are for many who come to this country. And it has soccer.
It is reminiscent of the Lost Boys of Sudan, who live in Dallas and work at a Central Market that I frequent. Their lives have been deeply impacted by Christians who have ministered to them. People don't realize that many refugees end up in Dallas; there are a number of churches who have vibrant ministries that serve this important population.
