Esquire Magazine, of all things, once did a story on married RC priests who are- you guessed it- among those converted Episcopalians who were ordained under Rome's pastoral provision for the Anglican Rite. Esquire reports that to date, there are over seventyy-nine such priests in the USA- which does not include those who converted from Lutheranism and other Protestant denominations.
Fr. Allan Hawkins of St. Mary the Virgin, an off- the- record fan of the married priesthood in the RC, seemed proud to be included. (The conversion stories in the article are pretty cool too)
